Yogi Sharma

Ex Meta Research Scientist

QUIET THE NOISE.

SHARPEN THE MIND.

How we can help?

Helping high-performing professionals gain clarity, master difficult conversations, and negotiate career-defining outcomes.

About

Yogi Sharma is a software engineer, amateur mathematician, career coach, and circus artist — bringing the same balance and precision from juggling into life and career coaching. He works with engineers and business leaders navigating high-stakes career moments, helping them move forward with calm authority without losing touch with their values.

Before coaching, Yogi was a Research Scientist and Software Engineer at Meta, following an academic path through IIT Kanpur, Cornell, and Waterloo.

His transition into coaching came after years of contemplation — including negotiating a senior leadership offer at Uber from USD 350,000 to USD 1 million — and then choosing to walk away from it to travel the world in search of deeper meaning. He ultimately chose to dedicate his life’s work to helping others find clarity in complexity. As a committed father and husband, Yogi brings presence, empathy, and groundedness into every coaching relationship.

GIVE US A CALL

Yogi’s coaching is less about fixing problems and more about revealing what is already true beneath the noise. He does not offer formulas, scripts, or motivational hype. Instead, he creates space for honest reflection, deep questioning, and compassionate accountability — where clients reconnect with their own instincts, confront what they’ve been avoiding, and find a way forward that feels aligned with their values. This process builds not only better decisions and outward success, but lasting self-trust and inner alignment.
At the heart of Yogi’s approach are three pillars: self-trust, courageous communication, and long-term focus. He helps leaders build confidence in uncertainty, master uncomfortable conversations, and stay aligned with their bigger trajectory rather than short-term noise. This practice is intentionally selective — depth over volume, clarity over hype, transformation over quick fixes. Clients come not for motivation, but to sharpen their thinking, own their decisions, and lead with quiet authority.

The Story

When Yogi Sharma arrived in the United States for university, he carried ambition, discipline, and an extremely strong academic record. But culturally, socially, and emotionally, he struggled to belong. He felt isolated. While others adapted naturally, he worked relentlessly just to stay afloat. Those years shaped his resilience — but also planted quiet inner battles that success could not solve.

Some journeys begin with confidence. Others begin with not fitting in.

Over time, Yogi entered elite technical and research environments: IIT Kanpur, Cornell, and later Facebook/Meta, where he worked as a Research Scientist and Software Engineer from 2011 to 2017. Externally, the path looked exceptional. Internally, something felt misaligned. At one point, he experienced a period of deep depression and hopelessness. It forced him to confront questions most high achievers avoid:

“Who am I beneath achievement? What am I chasing? And at what cost? Instead of pushing through blindly, Yogi chose to pause”

He stepped away from conventional life and took a year-long sabbatical across Central America, Europe, and Asia. Traveling with one-way tickets, living with locals, learning Spanish in small communities — this was not tourism. It was a deliberate return to simplicity, presence, and listening. That journey rebuilt his relationship with himself and clarified the kind of impact he wanted to have in the world.

When he re-entered the professional arena, he did so with new clarity. He went on to negotiate a senior leadership offer at Uber from USD 350,000 to USD 1 million — and then chose to walk away from it. Not out of failure. But out of alignment. He had learned that success without inner clarity is simply louder noise.

That decision became the turning point.

Yogi chose to dedicate his life’s work to helping others navigate the invisible struggles behind outward success — the self-doubt, the avoidance of difficult conversations, the quiet sense of being undervalued despite hard work.

HIS WORK TODAY

Yogi now works with engineers, professionals, and leaders who are no strangers to effort — yet feel they are not receiving the full fruits of their labor.

His coaching is built on a simple truth:

We don’t get only what we work for.

We get what we work for — and what we ask for.

And what we ask for is shaped by the internal voice running quietly beneath every decision.

Built on a Simple Truth

"We don't get only what we work for. We get what we work for — and what we ask for. And what we ask for is shaped by the internal voice running quietly beneath every decision. "

Through fostering self-trust and team-trust, and developing the ability to engage in uncomfortable but necessary conversations, Yogi helps clients bridge the gap between daily effort and long-term vision.
His clients have secured major promotions, substantial compensation increases, stronger professional relationships, and renewed personal alignment — not through scripts or hype, but through sharpened thinking and grounded confidence.

HIS WORK FOCUSES ON THREE PILLARS

Self-trust

Rebuilding confidence in one's own judgment.

Courageous

Communication

Mastering difficult conversations and negotiations.

Focus

Choosing meaningful direction over daily noise.

The Philosophy

Yogi's coaching is not about fixing people. It is about revealing what is already true beneath distraction and pressure.

He does not offer formulas or motivational performance. Instead, he creates space for honest reflection, deep questioning, and compassionate accountability — where clients reconnect with their own instincts, confront what they've been avoiding, and move forward in alignment with their values.

Clients come not for motivation. But for clarity. Not for hype. But for quiet authority

Beyond the Work

As a committed father and husband, Yogi brings presence, patience, and groundedness into every coaching relationship. As a circus artist and juggler, he embodies the balance he teaches — staying centered while everything is in motion kkk

Why this Matters

In a world full of noise — external pressure, internal self-talk, constant urgency — clarity is rare. Yet clarity is what changes everything.

Yogi's work exists for those who are ready to think deeply, speak courageously, and choose their path consciously.

Not Louder. But clearer.

Maintaining a sharp focus on the long-term vision, trajectory, and goals, ensuring present actions serve future self-realization.
